We haven't gotten to travel much since New Year's. So instead, we've been trying to make our house a home! And since our household goods hadn't arrived, we began a little do-it-yourself project. Amazing what a little paint can do!

We chose bright and cheerful shades of blue and green to combat the gloomy weather. Once we had a little color on the walls, we began to get more creative! We finally settled on stripes in the dining area leading to an accent wall. However, we didn't even have basic tools to help us out. So with the help of a piece of paper for measuring and Daniel's height for leveling, we eyeballed the tape. MacGyver would have been proud!

Elijah's room got circle stickers which he helped put up himself. It's amazing how happy he has been with some familiar items in his room.

We also personalized the boys' play mat to have their initials "E" and "Z"!

| Our stuff arrived! |
Our painting projects finished just in time for our household goods to arrive! It's hard to believe that those five crates held everything we owned. After 2 1/2 months of doing without, if felt like a luxury to sleep in our own bed, sit on our own couch and have a happy toddler with all of his toys.

Z has spent the first 5 months of his life sleeping in a bassinet that is now much too small. We can't wait to switch him to his crib!
