A Turkish Christmas

Merry Christmas to all! We weren't able to send out Christmas cards via snail mail this year, but please accept our warmest wishes from our family to yours, as we celebrate the birth of our Savior!

We were lacking in the decoration department this Christmas, so we are putting off a real shindig until we receive all of our belongings in January sometime. However, we did open some presents and read the Christmas story. Elijah was thrilled to drink hot chocolate this morning in place of his usual cup of warm milk!  Plus, when Daniel started to read The First Christmas story, Elijah said, "Because God loved us SO much...baby Jesus!"  We had been telling him about this being Jesus' birthday, but we think he put it together during Sunday school at the chapel.  Isn't that exciting?!
