Boycotting NBC/CBS/ABC News Programs

We're on a lot of email distribution lists. From legal organizations to Christian charity groups to political punditry, we get a ton of emails between the two of us. Some spark one or both of our interests and others don't. The American Family Association (AFA) just sent out one of its action alerts. On this one, we are both wholeheartedly on board!

This election season's worst-kept secret has to be the blatant bias coming from mainstream media sources like NBC, CBS and ABC, among others. When they aren't praising Obama (and refusing to investigate the many skeletons in his closet), they're busy tearing down Sarah Palin. We're tired of it. We try to still get some news from liberal sources so that we can challenge our thinking and arrive at an informed perspective. But enough is enough.

AFA is encouraging us all to stop complaining and to DO something about it. If you agree, you can quickly sign this pledge saying you will not watch any news programs from NBC, CBS and ABC until after the election. (Certainly, the debates will be covered on other channels.)

If Americans boycott these news programs, the networks lose money during those time slots.
Money talks. If a lot of Americans boycott, money talks louder. AFA will give the results of the pledge to all three networks.

AFA sent out the email only a few hours ago and already nearly 39,000 people have signed the pledge!
