After a not-so-festive Christmas, we had the nicest the Valentine's Day that I can remember without any catastrophes (i.e. blizzard, sickness, etc.)! The base chapel hosted a couple's dinner that included childcare. It was a great excuse to get dressed up and have someone else watch both our kids for a change.

Although it was nice to be childless for the evening, we are very much in love with our two little Valentines! It's hard to believe, but Ezekiel turned 6 months old today! He is a little one at 14.8 lbs. (8th percentile) and 25.8 in. (25th percentile). He has become a spit-up machine, so we're increasing his reflux medication in hopes that he'll start gaining a bit more weight. Thank God for giving us another knowledgeable pediatrician!

As for our little mischief-maker, the excitement never ends! He fills our house with so much laughter! Here he is with his little Turkish friend, Mia. They are both pretending to talk on the phone. The picture sequence is too cute for captions!
We've been getting a good amount of rain on and off, so Elijah's had plenty of opportunity to play in the puddles. Aunty Pookie gave him this fantastic raincoat, the envy of every other little boy on base!

In the time it took me to get Zeke up from his nap, Elijah managed to "apply" some of Mommy's mascara! He began screaming, absolutely horrified, that he had gotten black on his fingers. He had no clue what he had done to his face until I showed him the mirror! His huge eyes and the following
silence were a priceless reaction!

Wonderful, pictures!! The Valentine's Day dinner looked so special; Ezekiel is adorable with those eyes that swallow the rest of his face; Elijah with Mia pics are too precious for words; I can completely understand the envy of the Batman raincoat; and I would have loved to see E's expression when he looked in the mirror after getting into Mommy's mascara! Thank you so much for posting such delightful updates!!
