Daniel has been working hard at COT and doing really well! They get him up every morning at 4:30am to go running or participate in other physical training exercises. Then from 9am on he is attending class or taking part in other practice drills such as marching. He has passed both tests so far and did well on a presentation he gave yesterday. It sounds like a lot of hard work, but he's keeping a good attitude and working hard. I get to talk to him every night so it's made things a little easier. He told me that he got a lot of birthday cards from different people, which was encouraging to him, so thank you! His flight surprised him with a birthday cake, so his birthday away from home was still special! Only two more weeks and I'll get to see him!!! I'm curious if he'll look any different after all that training. Just imagine Daniel's face on the uniforms below...wow, I've got a handsome husband! =)
As far as how I have been doing in 'Cuse all by myself...well God hasn't left me by myself! Friends have been so wonderful about taking care of me and keeping me busy! I've had friends make me food, give me care packages and invite me over whenever I'm available. A couple friends had a girl's night for my birthday, which is just what I needed that day! I've had such a wonderful time enjoying my girlfriends out here that it's made the time apart much more bearable. I've also had my Baby Signs® Classes to keep me occupied. This Saturday is my last class and I will try to get some pictures to share with everyone!
Some great news is that my mom is coming to visit this weekend! She's flying in on the red-eye and will be here in the morning! She's coming to keep me company and cook yummy Indian food for me! Mmmm!!! Daniel will find a happy, round wife when he comes home! Ha, ha!
