Rain or Snow

The weather in Syracuse is known as being unpredictible. Whereas I never bothered to check the weather more than twice a year in CA, out here the weather channel has become a favorite. For example, on Thursday it was 8° F at 9am and it snowed like crazy. Today, it is in the low 50s and is raining. How is one supposed to know what to wear?!
