Elijah is now 13 months old, if you can believe it! I have wonderful pictures from his birthday party (some of which you may have seen on facebook), but those will have to wait for another post. I'm so hopelessly behind in blogging, that I'd better just get you caught up on what's going on now!
We've been using our bikes and trailer as much as possible before the weather started turning cold. Hopefully, we'll be able to squeeze at least one more ride in before putting them away for the year.
The exciting event this past month was going to the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta! We weren't able to go last October, so I have been looking forward to this for a long time! We left the house at 5:30am, parked about 2 miles away from the park, and walked in past the looooong line of cars waiting to park. We were able to view the balloons firing up and lifting up right in front of us! (They call it the "Mass Ascension"....sounds more like a spiritual experience! Ha, ha!) It was unfortunately, the coldest morning of the whole fiesta. But, no worries, we'll just come more prepared next year!

Have heard a lot about the balloon fiesta. God willing we will be there next year. Elijah is beginning to look like Anu!
