10 Months and 5 Years

Double Digits?! Can you believe it?! People always warn you that time truly flies when you have a little one, but it's hard to understand until you actually experience for yourself.

Last Friday, Elijah turned 10 months-old and Daniel and I celebrated our 5-year anniversary! With E not being typical "baby-chunky", people assume he is older than he really is. And sadly enough, he looks more and more like a big boy to me too. Where is my baby disappearing to?

He is now a very fast crawler and is pulling himself up on everything. He's even started cruising a bit, although we think he's going to take a bit more time before the actual walking happens. With his new found ability to go where he wants, he has found lots of trouble to get into. I could simply explain the incidents, but why bother when pictures are worth a thousand words?!

We desperately needed some baby gates after Elijah discovered the stairs! He can pretty easily make it all the way to the top of our long staircase.

Don't let that cute face fool you! Those chipmunk cheeks are hiding the tissue he's been munching on!
My little helper, unwrapping and eating a present that isn't his!

Dumping the whole bowl and eating off the floor makes Cheerios taste so much more delicious!

He was more amused than upset that he tipped this lamp on top of himself.

Ohhhh, yes. He did break this fan!!! I'm just amazed that he didn't bring it down on top of his head in the process!

Just look at that nose wrinkle! We most definitely have a mischievous one on our hands! =)

To celebrate our anniversary, we left E with a friend that evening and finally took the tram up to Sandia Peak. (We've lived right down the street from the Tram for more than a year!) It was so worth it!! The views were amazing and the sunset, incredible! We enjoyed desert at the restaurant at the top and took lots of pictures as the sun went down and the city lit up.
