I celebrated Mother's Day last year, but it felt so much more official to be walking around with a little guy in my arms! I was pleasantly surprised every time someone wished me"Happy Mother's Day." I would think to myself, "Oh, yeah! That's me! I'm a Mother!"
My favorite memory of this Mother's Day will always be Elijah's dedication. Just as Hannah presents Samuel to the Lord, we wanted to "give" Elijah back to God. Even though we call "little E" our own, he will always be a gift from God, and we want him to grow up and serve the LORD above all.
Daniel's new co-worker, who is also a Christian, was sweet enough to come to our church that morning, just to take pictures! Here they are:
