Working Next Door

I work in an old shoe factory. Literally! Actually, it's a very nice brick building with businesses on the first two floors and apartments upstairs. There is an insurance company, a travel agency, an architectural firm and even an upscale hair salon (you can always smell when someone is getting a perm). The only thing we're missing is a bakery or a coffee shop!

I've been working at CB Richard Ellis for almost 2 years now, but Daniel was fortunate enough to get a temporary job at the law firm right next door to me. How many people get to work across the hall from their husbands? I consider myself one of the blessed few! We get to commute together and have lunch together everyday in a really pretty atrium (the glass ceiling looks white all winter long). Some of my co-workers think it's funny that we sit and read together during lunch, but we see each other so much that there's nothing new to catch up on!

So how close do we work to each other? My door is on the left and Daniel's is on the right.
