Monday was the first day of Daniel's 3rd year of law school; it was his very
last first day of school (hopefully)! I hoped to capture this momentous occasion with a picture, but as our routine usually consists of running out the door while still putting our shoes on, this did not happen. Roopa and I have our first day of school pictures from every year, K through 12. They are the classic school-girl pictures with us standing in front of the door with our arms full of books, a backpack on our backs, and of course sporting the fabulous new clothes of the season. (Gorgeous 80's style clothing, mind you). Although I did not appreciate these pictures at the time, they are nice to look back on now that time has passed.
Hopefully, this weekend we can celebrate the beginning of the end...or at least the end of this step and the beginning of the next adventure! Or is this a little premature and should we be celebrating next semester? Anyways, even if we don't specifically celebrate a beginning or end, the first day of school is always worth noting!
God has been so, so good to us. Please keep us in your prayers, as we keep you in ours.
"Many, Oh LORD my God, are the wonders you have done. The things you planned for us no one can recount to you; were I to speak and tell of them, they would be too many to declare."~Psalm 40:5
