Wonderful friends, in ABQ, let us crash with them for a couple nights during the chaotic packing. They all have "sleepover face!"

We had to drive to Dallas in order to have our car shipped. E is used to our road trips, so he kept us entertained with his running commentary on all the trucks and trains we passed on the way!
Here are the boys in the hotel room.
Then we flew to Baltimore and finally on to Turkey, with a brief stop in Germany. After 14+ hours of flying and many nights in hotels, it was a relief to arrive! Daniel's office was all there to greet us and help us with our luggage. Oh, yes...that picture below is all of our checked baggage! That did not include the stroller, Z's car seat, a backpack or the diaper bag. That is 2 months of living right there!
Praise God that things have gone so smoothly since we've arrived! Daniel's co-workers stocked our temporary lodging with essentials, so we would have dinner and breakfast in the morning. They even invited us over for a Thanksgiving lunch today.
We found a rental car and have been assigned a 3 bedroom house!!! We were told not to expect anything larger than 2 bedrooms, but there just happened to be one available when we arrived. Miracle of miracles! It has 2 1/2 baths, is a 2-story and is noticeably larger than our old apartment.
For now, this jet-lagged chica needs to grab a short nap before the little guys are up!
