Already 1 Year in Albuquerque

It's hard to believe we've already been in ABQ a full year and only have 1 year left! Daniel always makes fun of me for famously saying on Saturday night, "I can't believe the weekend is almost over!" I like to believe myself an optimist in most things, but apparently not when it comes to seeing the end of a good thing. Well, I am determined to fully enjoy the blessings that come our way and enjoy the moment for what it is. We haven't gotten to sightsee much or enjoy some of the highlights of Albuquerque this past year, so we'll have to make up for it in the year to come. I plan on making a "bucket list" of sorts, and checking off each activity as we accomplish it.

Elijah turned 7 months today!

I've been keeping track of all his milestones on this fantastic calendar my sister-in-law gave us. He's got his two bottom teeth now, has started nibbling on his toes and just learned to clap his hands! It is so much fun to watch him grow! He finds his toys not nearly as entertaining as things like...the remote control. Awww....he's turning into a couch commando, just like his daddy! =)

I've learned to get more done around the house by letting E help. Here he is helping fold laundry! I'm not so sure what is exciting about the laundry basket, but he loves sitting in it. Actually, my parents have pictures of me sitting in one too...genetics!However, just like his daddy, he knows what tastes good. He's not quite old enough to do much more than lick and drool all over it, but he looooves his teething biscuits! So messy and so cute!
