The three major network anchors followed Obama across the world. The important news they reported?

I am not making this stuff up . . .

• "What would Barack Obama write on a postcard home?"
  
• "Who looks more presidential?"
• "Obama Flies in Style" (about Obama's new 757)
  
• "Obama Gets a Lift from the King" (about being dropped off by King Abdullah of Jordan in front of his 757)
  
• "Dressed Like a President"
  

But there were some more substantive headlines, though no more objective . . .

• "Obama's Trip Already a Success"
• "Obama Abroad: He's been called a naive idealist. But in terms of foreign policy, he's the true realist in the race."
• "Obama Meets Obamamania in Europe Eager for Change: Obama to Bask in Europeans' admiration amid high hopes for new era in American policies"
  

I could continue but you get the picture. The McCain camp responded with humor, with this video . . .

The funny thing is, even with all the farcical sycophancy of the media, the latest polls show McCain and Obama neck-and-neck. Hmm...

UPDATE: I had to add these:

Apparently, his campaign printed up thousands of the blue fliers to hand out to Berliners in advance of his speech there. And before that, they even put up this banner with his name in Hebrew at the Western Wall in Jerusalem. That's right; they actually put up a campaign banner at the holiest site in Judaism. According to local authorities, no political candidate has ever done that before.

Is Barack Obama running for President of Earth? The biggest ego trip in the history of American politics rolls onward.

UPDATE x2: (Sorry, can't help it; this is too good to keep to myself.) Check out this article on campaign contributions from members of the media. If pressed for time, here's the nugget: They favor Democrats 100-to-1. But they CAN'T be biased, right? After all, as the NY Times would remind us, they're just reporting "all the news that's fit to print." ;o)
