Entering the Grueling 4th Quarter...

Now that Daniel has graduated, we breathe a brief sigh of relief...and gear up for the most intense final lap! Daniel started his CA bar prep classes yesterday. He is commuting down to Ithaca (1 hour +) with three other classmates for the morning class and then studying the rest of the day in the Syracuse Law library. He'll be flying back to Cali to take the bar at the end of July.

So for those of you who may have not heard already, Daniel has been accepted to the Air Force JAG Corps! (Like the TV show, only Harm was in the Navy.) Aside, from that piece of news, we don't know much more at this point. We won't find out where we're living until Daniel passes the bar exam, and we won't know the results of the exam until Thanksgiving. In other words, you may have to wait for your Christmas card to find out any news! =) Even then, big ol' Cali is slooooow to move, and Daniel also needs to be sworn in before anything with the Air Force moves forward.

So amid the high levels of stress, we are focusing on what God has for us in the future! Psalm 40:8 states, "I desire to do your will, O my God; your law is within my heart." For this reason, I know that we will make it and have so much to give praise for when all is said and done.

UPDATE: Daniel and I just came across another great verse in our daily Bible reading, which comes at a good time in this hectic part of our lives: "Be at rest once more, O my soul, for the Lord has been good to you." (Psalm 116:7) God has been SOO good to us and we just want to be content and at rest in all of His blessings.
