Well, the brother and sister duo are doing fantastic! After a brief scare over Lucy's health, we finished off the antibiotics today and she's doing great. Lucy weighs in at 1 lb. 
(hopefully more by now) and Ricky is at 2.4 lbs. We quickly discovered as Lucy recovered that this was no mellow lap cat. Staying true to her name, she has much more attitud
e than her diminutive frame would indicate! Initially, we were really concerned about Ricky picking on Lucy; now, she is the one who is typically tackling him! As you can see, he's become quite the glutton for love. He actually rolls over like a dog to have his stomach petted! They play-fight constantly so we referee with a spray bottle. Another positive: Our TV consumption has significantly decreased as we've found their antics to be much more entertaining. Neither one really meows too much. Instead, Ricky makes 
"R2-D2" noises which he has been teaching to Lucy. And yes, I took that beautiful calendar-worthy picture; just know that it was not as peaceful a moment as it seems. Ricky was in the act of clobbering Lucy when he got distracted by a bird! As soon as we can get a decent video clip (with our digital camera) we'll be sure to share the joy!
